On Thursday Winchester, Kentucky, based GenCanna submitted a filing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Eastern District of Kentucky.
GenCanna has been the subject of numerous liens totaling over $30 million for unpaid work at a hemp processing facility in Mayfield, Kentucky. A $10 million loan to maintain operations has been requested by the company and submitted to a bankruptcy judge for approval.
